Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy

Payment Methods

ESTON Training will accept payments using any of the following methods. However, if you would like to discuss alternative and mutually-acceptable payment methods or terms, please contact us on + 44 (0) 1270 624 622.

  • Technical Authorship Diploma Course (Premier) - 24 x £50.00 monthly payments = £1 200.00 (interest-free payment plan).
  • On-line credit or debit card payments (via the ESTON Training website). The "Pay via Credit Card on line" facility is accessed via the website "Enrolment Form". The following cards are accepted:

    Visa, Diner's Club, Master Card, Maestro, Switch, American Express and most Bank Debit Cards.

    Note that the credit/debit cards that are accepted on line are determined by Messrs. ChronoPay and are liable to change from time to time. For further information, please refer to the ChronoPay website at the following URL: http://www.chronopay.com/nl
  • Cardholders are responsible for compliance with local laws regarding advertised products and services.
  • Customers' credit or debit cards will be debited directly after the on-line transaction has been successfully completed.
  • United Kingdom bank Sterling cheque (payable to ESTON Training).
  • For company purchases, please advise an Order Number and Invoice Instructions. Our terms are strictly 30 days nett.
  • For overseas customers, please contact ESTON Training to discuss a bank transfer of funds (in GBP).

Delivery

All training material (which generally comprises a CD-ROM or CD-ROMs, presented in a bespoke DVD case) is dispatched within 48 hours (excluding weekends) of receipt of payment by cheque, notification of payment by credit or debit card, or notification of company purchase order or bank transfer of funds, via Royal Mail. Alternative methods of dispatch can be arranged upon request.

Conditions of Sale

Courses are sold on the understanding that their use is restricted solely to the training of the purchaser, or a stated nominee, and that the copyright remains the sole property of ESTON Training. Reproduction of any course in whole or in part without the specific written consent of ESTON Training constitutes a breach of copyright and legal action may obtain if such a breach of copyright is proven.

The fee for the course covers all of the study material required.

The tutorial support provided with the course, where applicable, is available for a maximum period of 12 or 24 months (depending upon the course chosen) from the date of enrolment. If necessary, please discuss tutorial support with your tutor.

Refunds/Returns

ESTON Training will replace any CD-ROM or DVD case that is faulty, provided that we are informed by e-mail, telephone or letter when the training material has been received and notified within 14 days of receipt of the training material that such material is faulty.

However, due to the nature of the training material (i.e. that once received it can be easily copied and used without the knowledge or permission of ESTON Training) under no circumstances will training fees be refunded after the dispatch of CD-ROM-based course material.

Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act, 1998).

We do not collect any personal information from visitors to our web pages via our web server. We collect the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail and through our contact enquiry form on our Contact Us page and through our website Enrolment Form. The information that we collect is not shared with other organisations for commercial purposes. We do not partner, or have special relationships with, any Internet marketing companies.

We do not monitor patterns of behaviour of visitors to our website using "cookies".

If you do not want to receive e-mail from us in the future, please contact us.

We collect information about you for two reasons: firstly to process your order and secondly to provide you with the best possible service.

The type of information we will collect about you includes, for example:

  • your name
  • postal address
  • telephone number
  • e-mail address
  • payment details.

If you supply us with your e-mail or postal address on line, you will only receive the information that we deem relevant to your request and for which you provided us your contact details.

People who supply us with their telephone numbers on line will only receive telephone calls from us with particulars regarding their requests for information, or orders that they have placed on line.

If our information practices change, we will contact you before we attempt to use your data for any purpose, to notify you of our policy change and to provide you with the option to deny us permission to use your information.

Upon written request, we will provide site visitors and students with copies of the information that we maintain about them. We also offer visitors and students the ability to have inaccuracies corrected in their contact information. Consumers can have this information corrected by sending us an e-mail or letter.
